Description
Shades of Audrey.
This is my first painting ever. Portrait of the great Audrey Hepburn. Done on a 2 foot by 3 foot canvas, so it is much larger than any drawing I have ever done, much less any painting. It is done with acrylic paint, pretty basic stuff and honestly was the cheapest I could find.
Because of that the blending is not all that great, was hard to get the values to go over smooth, but then again it does give it a different feel and overall look. If I wanted it perfect I would have tried drawing it. And honestly I must say this turned out better than the one I did drawing because her face is more accurate.
Overall I liked painting for something different, not sure if I will do it more often now but it was fun to try, and not too bad for my first one ever, and I like being able to do big images without so much work needed to shade in and color.
