Description

This is a drawing of Eli in the glorious film "Let the Right On In". Simply one of the greatest films I have ever seen. If you have not seen it yet it is a must, wonderfully artistic and meaningful.

This turned out ok, not perfect but it was fun to do and did not take long at all for a change.

Made with colored pencils

I have yet to see the film "Let the Right On In", so I really don't know what her character in the film is all about. However, I can feel some intrigue in her face, especially her eyes. Drawn extra large? May be to add to the 'what she may be watching'. They convey mystery very well, especially the blue-orange shading. The wetness of hair (fear? chased after?) has come out very well. The shadows under the strands of hair look great indeed. This painting creates a feeling of anticipation. The rendering is good and the blood streaks stand out, adding to the general mood.
